Paris Metro

What a colourful Parisienne institution it is - the Metro. The underground transport that takes you conveniently all over Paris. Sure, the cars are old & rattly, & the stations are more than a bit skanky as more than a few people use it as a toilet facility as well as a transport facility. But, it does the task of taking you from A to B very well. And you even, at times, get entertainment in the form of onboard buskers of all types that play a lovely tune in hope of a few euros here & there.
